| 2008 World Championships The Unsyncables of La Mirada plan to be represented at the XII FINA World Masters Championships in Perth, Australia, in April. Sharpening their skills for the team event are Lea, Jenni Natalie, Lindsay and Karen. They also plan solos, duets, and a trio. Sylvia and Lori are making plans to swim solos. Because of a lack of sponsorship for adult women's synchro swimming events, from either the business community or philanthropic organization, each person must fund their own travel and other expenses to attend. This limits those who will not only be able to manage the costs, but who will also be able to get time from their work and family responsibilities. We still seek sponsorship which would allow more from our 25 member team that won U.S. National championship title again last year, to attend. Interested parties can e-mail rdbean@earthlink.net . |
